Stress Sensitivity of Proppant-Containing Fractures and Its Influence on Gas Well Productivity

Formation pressure gradually decreases with fracturing fluid flowback and gas production. Due to the stress sensitivity of fractures, permeability artificial fractures after becomes lower, which significantly affects well productivity. This paper focuses on two questions: (1) proppant-containing different roughness (2) tight productivity considering sensitivity. Two types fracture samples, smooth rough, are prepared filled proppant concentrations. Then, changing confining method is used quantify sample On this basis, equation for fractured finite conductivity that considers matrix derived, influence discussed. The results show concentration surface will affect sensitivity; increasing concentration, increases, decreases, increases; under same lower production higher fracture; when changes from no proppant, improved most.
